R7-07 Endings log
Supports slides 32 and 42.
Each ending leads with what I misjudged. No separation details and no one else’s words; the only quotes are mine.
| Engagement | Dates | How it ended | What I misjudged | What I do now | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| KingdomKode (agency) | 1 Oct 2025 to 23 Feb 2026 | They ended it, effective immediately, and claimed control of the AssuredBook applications. My reply, team copied: “A threat like that won’t work well.” and “AssuredBook was paid for in full.” | One agency holding the code and the repo | Ownership and access terms in writing on day one | Gmail 1844180938438445430, 1857933538344250570 |
| Edify (agency, SAMS SOW) | 20 Feb to 4 May 2026 | I closed the SOW. On 21 Apr I wrote: “I still do not have a viable product. And I have people who want to buy Stigviewer and resell it. This is now blocking revenue.” | I discounted the April signal for weeks because they came recommended | A dated acceptance test in the SOW | Gmail 1857675446279696108, 1863021996095054166, 1863191680021691645 |
| Phil (marketing) | Met in class May 2025; last Slack message 8 Jul 2026 | On 17 Apr 2026 I wrote: “I shouldn’t be the one pushing for this. You own marketing. Own it.” | The April ultimatum should have been a January conversation. I funded a friend past the point the work supported it | Separate the friendship from the role sooner | Gmail 1862732523019896195; Slack DM |
| QBatch (contractor) | 21 Apr to 28 Sep 2026, $35 an hour | Wound down, final invoice approved 28 Sep. Not a firing: the agents out-coded the contract | Nothing dramatic. It was the last outsourced core work | No external team owns core work | Slack #team-qbatch; Gmail 1877572447453569041 |
| Steven | 16 Aug 2025 to Jul 2026 | Last Slack message 14 Jul 2026 | (not on slide 42) | Gmail 1840564226875248172; Slack |
The rule since (slide 32 and slide 42)
Written acceptance criteria. Named owners. A dated gate on every engagement. No external team owns core work. The 5 May 2026 mentor meeting records the decision: no more external teams for core projects (Gmail 1864368014341444103, AI summary).
Not yet evidenced: Phil’s exact last day and Steven’s exact end date. Not yet evidenced: Edify and QBatch cost totals. KingdomKode invoices are on file; the others need pulling from Mercury or QuickBooks.
